Our Bariatric program offers a multi-disciplinary approach to Bariatric Surgery. The operation is an important part of the program, but it is only a tool that helps you to reach your ultimate goals. Our team includes: Surgeons, Program Case Managers, Dieticians, and Mental Health Practitioners. We will provide intensive consultative services before and after the surgery. Our program includes education, nutritional information, exercise guidelines, and support groups. All of these elements of the program together will help you to achieve success in long-term weight loss.

If you had bariatric surgery and would like to get back on track, we offer support groups, mindful eating classes and post-op nutrition classes. Please call the department for more information and to register. If you had surgery outside Kaiser less than a year ago, please have your primary doctor send a referral to the bariatric department for follow up. If you had surgery more than a year ago and need a bariatric lab panel, please contact your primary care doctor to order.
