Kaiser Permanente Southern California announced a $6 million, five-year Community Mental Health and Wellness Initiative with an immediate Local Partnership Grant (LPG) grant allocation of $1.28 million to combat and improve access to mental health services. The initial grant allocation is funding a group of two-year grants to support 16 nonprofit community partners working to improve mental health and wellness in under-resourced Southern California communities.
Kaiser Permanente Orange County announced that it will award more than $600,000 in community benefit grants to 20 nonprofit organizations serving Orange County. These grants align with Kaiser Permanente’s mission of total health by funding programs that increase access to care, improve mental health and wellness and create healthy communities.
Kaiser Permanente Anaheim Medical Center received Magnet® Recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The honor was bestowed on the Orange County facility in recognition of its nursing professionalism, teamwork, and superior patient care.
SANTA ANA, Calif. –April 24, 2018 - An announcement released nationally today by independent hospital watchdog, The Leapfrog Group, reports that 10 Kaiser Permanente Southern California hospitals earned “A” grades for their strong commitment to patient safety. Anaheim and Irvine Medical Centers have achieved an “A” grade since the launch of the Safety Grade in 2012.
