Nicole-Choy

Nicole Choy, MS, LCGC

My Background

I was born and raised in Oahu, Hawaii and made the move across the pacific to Southern California in 2013 for school. Thanks to many wonderful mentors throughout my academic career I have been involved in the field of genetics for many years before deciding to pursue a career in Genetic Counseling.

Education & Experience

I received my undergraduate degree from Chapman University in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I spent some time working as clinical research support at the University of California, Irvine before pursuing my Master’s Degree in Human Genetics and Genetic Counseling at the Keck Graduate Institute.

About My Practice

I joined the team here at Kaiser Permanente in 2021 where I now practice as a genetic counselor currently seeing patients in our high-risk prenatal and pediatric genetics clinics. I am grateful to be part of such a supportive team that is dedicated to providing our patients with quality care.

How I Thrive

Outside of work, I enjoy going on runs with my dog and sharing a meal with friends and family.
