My Background

I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland.

Education & Experience

After completing my bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at the University of Toronto, I returned to my hometown to work as a research assistant in the Cardiology department at Johns Hopkins. It was there that I first discovered genetic counseling and witnessed the amazing work that genetic counselors were doing in the area of inherited cardiomyopathies and arrhythmias. After shadowing genetic counselors in myriad specialties over the following months, I felt that genetic counseling was the perfect fit for me.

I moved out to California and earned my Genetic Counseling degree at the University of California in Irvine.

About My Practice

I am a board certified and licensed genetic counselor working in the fields of cancer genetics, prenatal genetics, and cardiovascular genetics. It is a fantastic experience to work in an integrated health care system that allows me to provide my patients with the best possible care.

I am a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors.

How I Thrive

Outside of my time with patients at Kaiser, I enjoy travelling, swimming, and supporting the Baltimore Ravens. The Orioles are a lost cause.
