San Francisco County Community Programs

Alliance Health Project: UCSF program supports the mental health and well being of  LGBTQ and HIV affected communities by decreasing health disparities within the community.

City Clinic: Trusted source for sexual health services and information.

Strut: Health and wellness center in the Castro offering community events, sexual health services, and more. Operated by San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

 

CA State and Federal Programs

PrEP AP: Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Assistance Program provides financial assistance for PrEP treatment for HIV negative individuals living in CA, for the prevention of HIV.

Covered CA: Free Service from State of CA to connect Californians with affordable health insurance based on income.  Includes Kaiser Plans.

CA EDD: Employment and Development Dept. for Disability and Unemployment Insurance.

Medi-Cal County Offices: Free or low cost insurance based on income.  Some plans include Kaiser.

My Benefits Calwin: Website for CA residents to get medica, food, and cash aid assistance.

San Francisco Health Plan: Managed care health plan for San Francisco Medi-Cal participants, includes option for Kaiser coverage.

Social Security: Provides long term disability, retirement income, and Medicare health coverage.

Gilead Advancing Access: Manufacturer program helps with the cost of Biktarvy, Complera, Descovy, Emtriva, Genvoya, Odefsey, Stribild, Truvada, Tybost, Veklury.

Viiv Connect: Manufacturer program helps with the cost of Apretude, Cabenuva, Dovato, Juluca, Rukobia, Triumeq, Tivicay.
