Orange County Surgical Services

Anesthesiology

The Department of Anesthesiology at Kaiser Permanente Orange County expertly cares for patients undergoing a wide range of surgeries, medical procedures, and chronic pain-related procedures. We also provide anesthetic services to our obstetrical patients to facilitate a safe and smooth delivery experience. Our anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists routinely deliver care to patients of all ages and with all forms of acute and chronic medical conditions. While all our general anesthesiologists have received extensive training in all areas of anesthesiology, many of our staff members have additional expertise and training in providing anesthesia for specific types of surgery, such as thoracic, vascular, neurological, obstetric and pediatric surgery. We work together as a team to ensure the highest quality and safest experience possible to improve the health of all our members.

Interventional Pain Management

The Interventional Pain Management Department is a subset of the Anesthesia Department, which specializes in minimally invasive procedures for pain relief, by offering techniques to both diagnose and treat patients. Once the Interventional Pain Management Department receives your referral, a physician will review your referral and decide if you are a candidate for a pain procedure, or if you need further follow-up before booking an appointment with our clinic. Please allow up to seven business days for the referral to be assessed. Once the referral has been approved, we will call you to schedule an appointment.
