My Background
I was born in Los Angeles and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Education & Experience
I received my undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara in Biopsychology. Before discovering the genetic counseling profession, I spent four years working at technology startups in Santa Barbara and San Francisco. I’ve always been fascinated by biology, and when I discovered genetic counseling, I was excited by the opportunity to combine my love of science and helping people. I went on to obtain my master’s degree in genetics from Keck Graduate Institute in Claremont.
About My Practice
I joined Kaiser Permanente as a genetic counselor in 2021. Before joining the clinical genetics team in Baldwin Park, I worked as laboratory counselor for several months, helping to coordinate genetic testing for patients across the Southern California region. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our community as part of an amazing and dedicated team.
How I Thrive
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, backpacking and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
