Whole Wheat Roti
Serves: 4-5 (one roti per serving)
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- ½ cup water
DIRECTIONS
- Combine whole wheat flour and water in a mixing bowl and mix together.
- Knead dough by hand or using a food processor. May adjust water and flour depending on consistency of dough. Should be soft but not sticky.
- Divide into 4-5 balls.
- Flatten balls and roll out 2-3 mm thick and round rotis with a rolling pin.
- Place on heated flat pan for roughly 30 seconds.
- Cook the other side for another 30 seconds.
- When roti bubbles, place directly on flame or on a grill to fluff up each side.
