Golden Spiced Overnight Oats

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup unsweetened plant-based milkof choice
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1/4 teaspoon maple syrup
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of golden spice mix
  • Toppings: Add sliced bananas, apples,strawberries or blueberries or dried fruit and/or sliced nuts

Golden Spice Mix

  • 2 Tablespoon ground turmeric
  • 2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon

Optional:

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground clove

DIRECTIONS

  1. To a 12 oz mason jar, add all the above ingredients and stir well.
  2. Keep in fridge overnight and add toppings when ready to serve.

Golden Spice Mix

  1. Add all spices in a jar and use 1/2teaspoon per servings (or more based on taste)
