Golden Spiced Overnight Oats
Serves: 1
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup unsweetened plant-based milkof choice
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1/4 teaspoon maple syrup
- A pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon of golden spice mix
- Toppings: Add sliced bananas, apples,strawberries or blueberries or dried fruit and/or sliced nuts
Golden Spice Mix
- 2 Tablespoon ground turmeric
- 2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
Optional:
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground clove
DIRECTIONS
- To a 12 oz mason jar, add all the above ingredients and stir well.
- Keep in fridge overnight and add toppings when ready to serve.
Golden Spice Mix
- Add all spices in a jar and use 1/2teaspoon per servings (or more based on taste)
