Dipping Sauces for Spring Rolls

INGREDIENTS

Nuoc Cham: (makes about ½ c sauce)

  • 2 Tbsp Fish sauce (or 1 Tbsp soy sauce and 1 Tbsp water)
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 3 Tbsp water
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ thai chili pepper, minced
  • ½ tsp optional chili garlic sauce

Hoisin sauce: (makes about 1/3 c sauce)

  • ¼ c hoisin sauce
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 2 tsp water (can add more or less for your preferred consistency)
  • 2 tsp peanuts, chopped (for garnish)

Peanut sauce: (makes about 1/3 c sauce)

  • 2 Tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 2.5 tsp hoisin sauce
  • 2.5 tsp lime juice
  • ½ tsp sugar or brown sugar
  • 2 tsp chili garlic sauce (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. For each dipping sauce mix all ingredients in a small bowl and set aside for dipping.
  2. These can be stored sealed in the refrigerator for a week.
