Dipping Sauces for Spring Rolls
Serves: 4
INGREDIENTS
Nuoc Cham: (makes about ½ c sauce)
- 2 Tbsp Fish sauce (or 1 Tbsp soy sauce and 1 Tbsp water)
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 3 Tbsp water
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ thai chili pepper, minced
- ½ tsp optional chili garlic sauce
Hoisin sauce: (makes about 1/3 c sauce)
- ¼ c hoisin sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp lime juice
- 2 tsp water (can add more or less for your preferred consistency)
- 2 tsp peanuts, chopped (for garnish)
Peanut sauce: (makes about 1/3 c sauce)
- 2 Tbsp creamy peanut butter
- 2 Tbsp water
- 2.5 tsp hoisin sauce
- 2.5 tsp lime juice
- ½ tsp sugar or brown sugar
- 2 tsp chili garlic sauce (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- For each dipping sauce mix all ingredients in a small bowl and set aside for dipping.
- These can be stored sealed in the refrigerator for a week.
