Apple Cinnamon Nutty Toast
Serves: 1
INGREDIENTS
- 1 slice whole grain bread (at least 3-5 grams of fiber/serving)
- 1 Tablespoon nut butter(cashew, almond, peanut butter or tahini)
- ½ an apple (also can use pears, bananas, berries, etc)
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon honey
- Optional: ½ teaspoon sesame seeds
DIRECTIONS
- Toast bread in toaster oven or oven at broil.
- Slice apple (or fruit of choice) into thin slices.
- Spread nut butter on toasted bread.Top with apple or fruit slices. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Drizzle with honey and sesame seeds (optional).
