COVID-19 Vaccine Update
- Who we’re vaccinating now — Kaiser Permanente is currently vaccinating health care workers, residents of long-term care facilities, and people 75 and older. See more details.
- Coming soon — As appointments become available, we’ll reach out to members between the ages of 65 and 74 — focusing on those at highest risk of exposure or complications due to COVID-19.
- Supply is still limited — We’re working with the state of California to increase our supply of vaccine. As we get more supply, we’ll continue to include additional groups by looking at age, health risks, and job types.
We understand how important it is to know when you’ll be able to get the vaccine, and we’ll keep you updated as supply increases. We’re committed to acting as quickly as possible to provide the vaccine to those who are eligible, equitably, and as soon as we receive it.
Update on the COVID-19 vaccine
As of 1/18/21, Kaiser Permanente has limited vaccine supply for:
- Health care workers
- Long-term care patients and staff
- Emergency medical services
If you’re in one of these groups, go to kp.org/covidvaccine to schedule a vaccination appointment.
We are reaching out directly to those over age 75 — If you are age 75 or older, you don’t need to call or email us regarding COVID-19 vaccinations until we have contacted you first. We’ll let you know by letter or email when we can schedule you. Since supplies are low, it’ll take time to offer everyone an appointment. Thank you for your patience.
