Health Education
Our goal is to give people the inspiration, tools, and information you need to make healthy choices at every stage of life. San Jose’s Healthy Living Center is an interactive learning space designed to help you navigate all our available health resources. Our trained staff can help you register for classes, find valuable health information, learn about online tools, and get access to counseling as needed. Please call or visit our Center to learn more.
The Health Education Department offers classes and support groups for Kaiser Permanente members and nonmembers with various physical and/or psychological symptoms. All classes are held at Kaiser Permanente facility locations and most require pre-registration. Some classes are supported by your health plan dues and some are not, so fees vary from class to class. Dates and times vary; please refer to the San Jose Health Education Class link below or contact the Health Education center at 408-972-3340 for specific information and/or to register.
Fees:
Many classes are offered at no fee to Kaiser Permanente members. Program fees are subject to change and may depend on your health plan coverage. Please refer to your current Evidence of Coverage to confirm the services covered by your plan or call Member Services at 1-800-464-4000. Kaiser Permanente employees receive a discount on all classes.
Cancellations and Refunds:
Refunds will be given for cancellation requests made at least 48 hours prior to the class start date. For additional information concerning registration, contact the Healthy Living Center at 408-972-3340.
