At its core, sports medicine focuses on members who sustain acute and chronic injury while engaged in sports, exercise, or other physical activity. Our specialized care isn’t limited to professional or amateur athletes who exercise, train, and compete. It’s also for individuals who experience more common injuries that come from everyday activities and who want excellent care and plans that meet their unique needs to improve their ability to live an active life.

Sports Medicine

  • Diagnosis of injuries and disorders of bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves (musculoskeletal system)
  • Preoperative, operative, and postoperative treatment with exercise, medication, casting, surgery, or other options
  • Collaboration between surgical and medical specialists for injury prevention and rehabilitation to restore movement, strength, and function
  • Surgical expertise for complex cases such as Tommy John surgery and meniscal transplant
  • Musculoskeletal ultrasound
  • Concussion care

Physical Therapy

  • ACL functional movement and pre-exercise screenings
  • Evaluation and management plan for acute/chronic musculoskeletal injuries
  • Sport-specific return to function
  • Overhead throwing rehabilitation
  • Corrective exercise treatment plan
