Renewing Your Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program) Coverage
At least once per year, the state will conduct a review to determine if you and/or your family members still meet Health First Colorado eligibility requirements. This review process is called redetermination.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1:The state will mail the yearly renewal/redetermination materials to you and/or your family members 60 days before your redetermination date.
Step 2:Please fill out, sign, and return the forms, along with any extra required information. All information must be completed by the deadline provided by the state to avoid a break in coverage.
