Topping- Off Ceremony
Kaiser Permanente hosted a Topping-Off Ceremony on November 15 at the site of its future Baldwin Hills-Crenshaw medical office building. Several local elected officials, community leaders and Kaiser Permanente administrators celebrated a construction milestone at this ceremony – which is that the final layer of concrete was poured on top of the building, making it self-supporting.
Completion of Slab-on-Grade
Kaiser Permanente and Turner Construction celebrated excellence in safety and the completion of the slab-on-grade on August 12, 2016.
Baldwin Hills-Crenshaw Groundbreaking
Kaiser Permanente hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Oct. 20, 2015 at the corner of Marlton Avenue and Santa Rosalia Drive in Crenshaw – where its new medical office will open in spring 2017. Elected officials, including Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Senator Holly J. Mitchell, Assemblyman Sebastian Ridley-Thomas, County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas and L.A. City Council President, Herb Wesson, along with area residents, gathered to celebrate the positive impact this facility will have on the Baldwin Hills-Crenshaw community.
