Internship Training Program in Clinical Psychology

Welcome to the Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program, Los Angeles. We provide outpatient mental health services to health plan members in the metropolitan Los Angeles area. Our training goal is to facilitate the psychology intern’s transition from student to solidly trained professional clinical psychologist using a generalist practitioner model designed to provide the intern with experience in a range of roles and functions possible for clinical psychologists. You will encounter a quality educational environment that includes direct patient responsibility and a large and varied patient base. You will benefit from the supervision of our experienced psychologists and multidisciplinary staff. We are a clinical psychology internship training program fully accredited by the American Psychological Association Commission on Accreditation. The internship began in 1965, distinguishing the program as the oldest psychology internship at Kaiser Permanente.
