My Background
I grew up in Colorado and knew I wanted to be a genetic counselor since I was 17 years old.
Education & Experience
I have a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Colorado and obtained my master’s degree in genetics and biophysics from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1989. I am board certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and licensed by the State of California.
About My Practice
My passion and expertise lie in prenatal, pediatrics and general genetics. I have been privileged to work for Kaiser Permanente since 1990 and take great pride in my relationships with families. I can’t wait to work with you and guide you through the complicated process of genetic testing. To me, the most rewarding part of being a genetic counselor is when a patient feels respected, educated and empowered after receiving the information and services that genetic counseling can provide.
How I Thrive
In my spare time, I enjoy the company of my family and friends, watching movies and attending lots of concerts.
