As of 1/18/21, Kaiser Permanente has limited vaccine supply for:
- Health care workers
- Long-term care patients and staff
- Emergency medical services
If you’re in one of these groups, go to kp.org/covidvaccine to schedule a vaccination appointment.
We are reaching out directly to those over age 75 — If you are age 75 or older, you don’t need to call or email us regarding COVID-19 vaccinations until we have contacted you first. We’ll let you know by letter or email when we can schedule you. Since supplies are low, it’ll take time to offer everyone an appointment. Thank you for your patience.
To help ensure patient safety with adequate physical distancing and reduce wait times, we’re now offering appointments for lab visits. When your doctor orders your lab tests, you can use kp.org or the mobile app to schedule a lab appointment at a time that’s convenient for you. Skip the line…book your appointment in advance! Just sign in to kp.org and click on Appointments to get started.
As part of our commitment to protect our patients and staff, and to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented the following in our facilities:
In counties under public order, anyone entering our facilities must wear a mask. Masks are recommended for all persons entering our facilities in all other counties. If you arrive without a mask, we’ll provide one.
Anyone entering our facilities will encounter temperature checkpoints. If you are found to have an elevated temperature you will be asked additional question with regards to your visit and either escorted to your appointment or asked to contact your care provider.
In accordance with recent guidelines from the state of California, we are limiting visitors in our facilities.
Testing plays a major role in fighting COVID-19 — for your health, the health of our communities, and to help safely reopen businesses, schools, and more.
