Stop the Bleed

 

Did you know that the top cause of preventable death in trauma is bleeding? It is estimated that twenty percent of people who have died from traumatic injuries could have survived with on-site and immediate bleeding control. Stop the Bleed is an initiative of the American College of Surgeons and Hartford Consensus, providing individuals with the training, tools, and knowledge necessary to stop life-threatening bleeding during the moments before first responders arrive.
