Impact Teen Drivers

A national program that teaches teens and parents about the dangers and consequences of distracted driving and reckless driving. This evidence-based program focuses on connecting with teens on an emotional level to influence long-term attitude and behavior changes. Every 15 Minutes

Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento trauma and emergency department staff participates with the CHP and other fire and law enforcement professionals to carry out the Every 15 Minutes program to educate students at local high schools about the dangers of drinking and driving. Our team assists with moulage for the on-site crash victims in addition to facilitating mock resuscitations by trauma surgeons in the trauma bay, and a visit by organ procurement professional and more.
