The vision of the Department of Ophthalmology remains one of commitment to provide excellent care, reduce touch points and to streamline our operations to continue to make Kaiser South Sacramento the viable provider of choice in health care. With our excellent access, we are often able to serve our members on the same day they request to be seen: a big satisfier. By reducing touch points, and completing necessary testing on the same day (as possible), our members will experience outstanding and efficient service.

The Department of Ophthalmology provides a full array of the eye services with the latest state-of-the-art equipment. Our surgeons are Board Certified, and our department has a staff of Certified Ophthalmic Technicians, Certified Ophthalmic Assistants, and Visual Services Assistants as well. Our department provides surgery and care for most eye issues including cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment, and specialty lenses as well as the care for other diseases of the eye.

For Emergencies, an Ophthalmologist is on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We look forward to serving you for all of your eye care.
