  • Inattention or Hyperactivity
  • Depression
  • Anxiety

  • Family conflict
  • Adjustment to life stress (divorce, illness, child abuse)
  • Substance abuse
  • Serious emotional disorders

Getting Started

To request that your child be evaluated, call (916) 525-6100 to receive advice from an on-call clinician. An evaluation appointment will be scheduled as soon as possible through our Early Assessment program. While you may be referred to our department by another Kaiser Permanente clinician, no referral is necessary. You will be asked to complete our Intake Forms prior to that appointment. During your first meeting, the process and goals of treatment will be described, as well as issues related to confidentiality, the basics of therapy, and family-based interventions. Our team members work collaboratively with your child and family members in order to customize a treatment plan that will most effectively address the current condition.

Our team provides a broad range of confidential mental health services including:

  • Individual, family, and group psychotherapy
  • Psychoeducational Classes & Groups
  • ADHD Clinic
  • Medication management
  • Intensive Outpatient Program
  • Case management services
  • Crisis intervention and after-hours emergency services

We look forward to working with you. Thank you for choosing Kaiser Permanente!
