Spoken and Unspoken: Why Communication Styles Matter
Words are our primary way of relating to other people, yet unspoken communication can equally convey our feelings. Whether it’s building strong friendships, getting in to an argument, or persuading family members to follow our plans, learn how communication styles differ between men, women and different generations. The goal for this interactive presentation is to enhance insight into your own personality and communication style so you may avoid common communication pitfalls and improve your communication overall.
Speaker: Patricia Hiserote, D.O.
is a Family Medicine physician, Director of the Family Medicine Residency program, and a Communication Consultant. She uses her background as a communication expert to aid in physician development, teaching, and mentoring.
Space is limited.
