Bereavement Resources

Your Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa team members and family wish to extend our sincere condolences to you in this difficult time. The loss of a loved one can be a devastating and traumatic experience. Whether your loved one died suddenly or lived with illness for a long time, you may feel overwhelmed with grief. Disbelief, anger, denial, numbness and helplessness are not uncommon feelings. You may experience and express your grief in different ways and at different times after your loved one’s death.

Our Bereavement Packet offers information and resources that may be of help to you in the coming months. If not of use at the current time, please consider saving this information in case it should become useful in the future and if sharing with other family members and close friends might be of benefit.

We encourage you to remain closely connected with your personal physician and to take advantage of the excellent local hospice grief support groups to supplement the support you may already have in your life.

It has been an honor for our Kaiser Permanente family to care for your loved one.
