ABOUT US
Welcome to the Department of Anesthesiology at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara. We are a group of anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), and anesthesia technicians who are dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care during surgery and other medical procedures.
The first interaction with us in your surgical care journey will be at the Perioperative Medicine (POM) clinic. During your visit, a physician or nurse practitioner will review your history and medications with you and ensure your readiness for surgery. On the day of surgery, you will meet your anesthesia provider. Based on the type of surgery and your medical history, they will determine the best anesthesia plan that will minimize pain and optimize your recovery. Click on the About Your Anesthesia link to learn more.
