Pediatrics

The pediatrics department is dedicated to the health and well being of infants, children, and teens offering care to children from birth to 18 years of age. We place an emphasis on establishing a long relationship of trust and care with our patients and their families. We are committed to delivery of high quality care by a professional and compassionate staff by treating patients as we would our own families. A number of our physicians and staff are bilingual with primary emphasis on providing care for our Spanish- speaking patients.

We offer a wide range of services not only for acute problems and well-child evaluations but also for a variety of more specialized needs. Within our department we offer support for breast feeding mothers, consultations on infant and child temperament, evaluation of school age children for attention problems, support for families addressing weight problems, and stress management services.

Our department is comprised of 19 Board Certified Pediatricians working in 2 different sites– San Rafael Park and Petaluma. Despite the distance separating each office, members of our department work side-by-side in their dedication to their patients and commitment to disease and injury prevention. Our Petaluma offices provide care during regular weekday hours only. Our San Rafael Park clinic provides not only weekday care, but also urgent care on weekends and holidays for patients of all three sites. Whether your child is being seen in a different clinic than usual or is being seen in any Kaiser Hospital Emergency Department, the full medical record is immediately available thanks to our electronic medical record and integrated system of care.
