Welcome to the Kaiser Permanente San Jose Newborn Care Center. We offer post-hospital visits for all newborns and breastfeeding assistance for those babies/parents who need additional support. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of care to all newborns and their families and we are committed to caring for your newborn during the transition from hospital to home. Our clinic staff all have backgrounds in nursing, newborn care, and lactation education. We are looking forward to working with your family during this exciting time.
Baby & Me Support Group
This twice weekly drop-in support group is designed to provide information and support for new moms. Bring your baby and discuss, breastfeeding, sleeping, crying, adjusting to parenthood and more! Some sessions feature physicians and/or guest speakers from the community. A lactation educator is available to assist with general breastfeeding questions and concerns. This group does not meet on holidays.
