Our Mission Statement

The Pediatrics Department at Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center is dedicated to providing quality medical care and service to children and adolescents from birth to 18 years of age. Our pediatric staff is highly trained and experienced in pediatric and adolescent medicine. View your doctor’s home page to learn about various conditions and procedures as well as having access to email us, schedule appointments, see your test results, and much more. Learn how to manage your family’s health online.

Your personal health provider

To receive personalized and high-quality care and service, we strongly encourage patients and their parents to choose a personal pediatrician or pediatric nurse practitioner.

If your child does not have a personal Pediatrician, please choose a personal Pediatrician for your child online today.

The Pediatric department is organized into a four-module system (A, B, C, D). This allows for better continuity of care for patients. Your personal physician works closely with their associate physicians within the module. This assures that if you cannot be seen by your primary care provider, you will be seen by one of their associates and any problems or issues that you have will be conveyed to your personal provider. This also assures that your care will be provided by a small group of providers who will gain familiarity with you to provide the best possible care.

Your doctor is online

Get to know your doctors and browse recommended information and helpful online tools on My Doctor Online. From your doctor’s home page, you can also:

  • manage (schedule, view, cancel) appointments
  • refill prescriptions
  • check test results
  • email your doctor
  • view preventive health reminders and past visit information.
