Domestic violence is a pattern of abusive behavior directed at a former or current partner. The abuse can take many forms, including physical, emotional, economic, and sexual abuse, and it may involve using children, pets, threats, intimidation, and isolation.

At Kaiser Permanente, we’re committed to ending domestic violence. Helping you with your emotional health and physical safety is part of our philosophy of caring for the whole you.

Your personal physician or another member of your health care team can talk to you about your situation at home and provide you with resources to help you lead a life that is healthy and safe.
