Whether you need a same day office visit for a minor illness or injury, lab work, a vaccination, or a maintenance injection, our team is there to provide high quality, coordinated care.

How is Care Essentials different from Emergency Care?

Care Essentials offers accessible and convenient care for minor health care needs. It does not offer specialty care, urgent care or emergency care.

How to access

When we’re open, members can schedule a same day appointment for quick, convenient care. You can set up your visit via kp.org, the My Doctor Online app, or our 24/7 advice line at 866-454-8855. Please note: Due to COVID-19, we currently require a consultation with a clinician through an e-visit, video visit (when appropriate and available), or a phone consult prior to an in-person visit. This may no longer be the case upon opening.
