Whole Food Plant Based Eating Class Online (Intro Class)
Have you ever considered a plant-based diet but don’t know where to start? In this 2-hour introductory class, you’ll learn about the benefits of fueling your body with nutritious and delicious plant-based foods and filling your plate with healthy choices. At the conclusion of the class, patients will have the option to enroll in subsequent classes below (Plant Based Eating Workshop and Plant Strong series).
Sessions: One 2-hour online session. No cost for members, members only.
Plant-Based Eating Online
Plant-Based 101 will provide you with an understanding of the research behind a plant-based approach to improving health. Subsequently, you will have the option to enroll in additional programs, including the 12- week Plant-Strong Series, to support long-term behavior change and adoption of a plant-forward lifestyle.
Sessions: Two 1.5-hour online sessions. No cost to members, members only.
Plant-Based Eating Workshop Online
Over two sessions, you will learn the benefits of a whole food plant-based diet, how to meet your nutritional needs, and easy tips on how to incorporate plant-based eating into your current diet. After completion of this workshop, you will have the option to enroll in the 12-week plant strong series if you are ready for more long- term support.
Sessions: Two 1.5-hour online sessions. No cost for members, members only.
Plant-Strong Series Online
Plant-Strong is a 12-week program for motivated patients ready to make lifestyle changes. It covers the pillars of lifestyle medicine including adhering to a predominantly whole food plant-based diet, physical activity, stress management, and sleep. The series provides a supportive community and accountability to encourage behavior change. You must first attend either Plant-Based 101 or Plant-Based Eating Workshop to enroll. Motivation level will be assessed prior to enrollment and screening labs will be taken before and after the 12-week program.
Sessions: Twelve 1.5-hour online sessions. No cost for members, members only.
Healthy Habits Group Online
This monthly drop-in group is available to members who have completed the 12-week Plant-Strong Series. The goal is to provide ongoing support for those who are following a predominantly whole-food, plant-based diet, with a focus on sustaining behavior changes to make healthy eating a lifelong habit.
Sessions: Ongoing 1-hour online sessions. No cost for members, members only.
Clinical Health Educator Appointment
Meet one-on-one with a Clinical Health Educator to discuss how you can incorporate whole food plant- based eating into your lifestyle to improve your overall health. Receive personalized support and develop an action plan to help you reach your goals.
Sessions: Video visit or telephone appointments available. No cost for members, members only.
