What is behavioral health education?
Behavioral Health Education (BHE) offers educational programs addressing psychosocial issues delivered in a class or group setting. Examples of class topics include Managing Anger, Managing Depression Overview, Mindfulness Meditation, and Stress Management through Mind-Body Medicine. All classes are designed to teach skills and behaviors for managing symptoms of physical and emotional distress.
Who are behavioral health education classes for?
Our classes are designed to help individuals, couples and families who are interested in improving self-care skills, family/parenting or communication skills, or as a complement to their current medical or mental health treatments.
