How to Get your Prescriptions

Your physician may send your prescription to the pharmacy electronically. If he or she gives you a paper prescription instead, please drop it off at the pharmacy before you leave the medical center.

You can pick up your prescriptions at one of our pharmacies, or you can have most prescriptions delivered to you by mail at no additional charge. Many members enjoy the convenience of getting their prescriptions by mail.

If you decide to wait for your prescription, your last name will appear on the “prescription ready” board in the pharmacy waiting area when your medications are ready for pickup. Remember to bring your Kaiser Permanente identification (ID) card and photo ID with you when picking up prescriptions in the pharmacy.
