Building Healthier Communities

Kaiser Permanente supports a range of activities to enrich the health of our communities. Through our local event sponsorships and grants program, we support, strengthen and enhance programs and organizations that address the health needs of our most vulnerable residents.

The Napa-Solano Area includes the Solano County communities of Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Vacaville and Vallejo, as well as the Napa County communities of American Canyon, Calistoga, Napa, Oakville, Rutherford, St.Helena and Yountville, as well as the Yolo County City of Winters.

Through a community needs assessment, we have identified priority health and social needs to help guide our contributions to the community. The health priority needs identified through 2019 are:

  • Access to Care & Coverage
  • Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL)
  • Mental Health & Wellness
  • Community and Family Safety

2019 Community Relations Sponsorships

We accepted applications during two application funding cycles in 2019:

  • January 1-31, 2019 — Application period has ended.
  • July 1-15, 2019 — Application period has ended.

Sponsorships for 2020 events will likely have similar application periods, but please check back at the end of the year to confirm dates.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for funding during the first funding cycle each year, as a majority of our budget is allocated by the end of the January application period.
