PG&E Power Outage Update

For public safety, it may be necessary for PG&E to turn off electricity in certain locations for several days as a heightened fire risk is forecasted due to high winds and dry conditions. This is called a “Public Safety Power Shut Off” or “PSPS.”

Kaiser Permanente is committed to the health and safety of our members, patients, and employees. We have the contingency plans in place for planned and unplanned power disruptions. The utility companies will provide direct communications to us prior to, during and after a PSPS event.

All Kaiser Permanente hospitals will remain open as they have emergency generators. However, an outage may affect some outpatient medical offices and require rescheduling certain services in some areas.

Currently, we do not have any outages at our Napa Solano Area Facilities.
