General Department Information

Health Education Services

A positive attitude and a sense of well-being can make the difference in helping you to maintain your heath, prevent illness, and support you in an ongoing medical condition. Our health education goal is to be one of your personal resources of information in your own program of health maintenance.

Clinical Health Educators

Our clinical health educators (CHEs) are here to help you make lifestyle changes that fit well with who you are. They are present on each of the adult medicine modules and work closely with your doctor. CHEs provide personalized guidance for uncomplicated stress-related issues, managing chronic illness, tobacco cessation, weight management, and many other healthy living topics, including referral to other programs you might find helpful.
