Getting started

Get your medical record number.

As a new member, you’ll soon get your Kaiser Permanente ID card and membership information in the mail. Your ID card contains your unique medical record number. You’ll need your medical record number to choose your personal physician, make an appointment, and get care at our facilities. If you need care after your coverage begins but before you’ve received your ID card, call our Appointment and Advice Call Center at (559) 448-4555.
