Urogynecology

Urogynecology is a subspecialty of gynecology dealing with common problems of the pelvic floor. These problems include urinary incontinence (leakage of urine), pelvic organ prolapse (a bulge in the vagina, or “fallen” bladder or uterus), as well as bowel problems, and other issues related to the pelvic floor.

There are many treatments for pelvic floor problems, including physical therapy, lifestyle changes, medications, pessaries, and surgery.

Our team is here to help you overcome these bothersome and often embarrassing problems, and to help you live the lifestyle that is best and healthiest for you!

Urogynecologists see patients by referral only, so please ask your primary care provider or primary gynecologist for a referral if you would like to make an appointment with a member of our team. We look forward to meeting you and partnering with you to help you overcome your pelvic floor problem.
